You Were Never Really Mine.

by Erin   Mar 4, 2006

I never thought this would end, when we first started it seemed as clam as wind.

The love you spoke of was anything but true, except for the love I gave you.

I never knew my heart could hurt so much, never thought I would miss your touch.

She is your true love, she is your happiness. But what I can't figure out is why my hearts sucha mess.

I was never able to call you my own, because if you were it would have shown.

You loved her when you met me, and through your eyes I could see.

Your heart was never mine to hold, yet I will love you until I become withered and old.

I was you girl but I was not your love. I should have listen to that voice above.

Instead I poured me heart into you, never in my life would I dream this is what it would come to.

Now you leave me in the cold, never will I love again. Never will I be the same.

My heart is still yours, but never was the love really ours.
