Today I walked to the edge of the world,
it took fairly long but was worth the walk,
I needed to be alone, I didn't want to listen to anyone talk,
So I sat on the edge of tomorrow, and let myself cry in the pains of my sorrow,
the weight of my tears caused the sun to set,
the burning rays upon my body I will never forget,
the stars were the only light to guide my way, as I attempted to jump in to yesterday,
but thankfully the clouds were my supporting beams,
as I landed in the ocean of broken hearts and dreams,
I let the current take me to the unknown, on to the shores of heaven I am sure I was thrown,
because that is where I found him standing, in his arms I found myself landing,
the blanket of love he wrapped me up tight in,
and explained to me that this is where my life will begin,
he kissed me for the first time and caressed my head,
as he swept me away and laid me upon sheets of satin and made love to me endlessly with passion,
I finally began to feel what it was like to live in lifes celebration,
I knew I would find him, even when my life was hurled,
but there I found him, standing on the edge of the world.
