If only he knew

~ sorry if this is bad, but i had to get my feelings out.~

everyone says you cant fall in love so young
but they were proven wrong when i found the one
no one truly understands that what we had was soo important
he cheered me up when no one else couldn't
he asked me out on April 17th
i was soo happy i jumped up and screamed
over the summer we grew apart so i called it quits
but i didn't know where to start
he meant everything to me
and now it was over i don't understand couldn't we just start over
when the school year began
i fell in love with him all over again
and on august 27th my birthday party came along
my birthday wish had come true as he asked me to dance to our song
as our song was playing i looked deeply into his eyes and to my surprise he leaned in for a kiss
it was the best birthday ever that no one had missed
he asked me out on that very night and when i said yes everything felt just right
we went out for about 5 months and sadly broke up
so now i am single and torn apart
i hope we will still be friends or even more
because you never know what the future has in store
