Felonious Villain

by Lenny   Mar 7, 2006

Felonious villain,
Lathered in blood,
Crumpling coward,
With face in the mud,
A thoughtful new preacher,
Of complete utter crap,
Explains to the world,
Why your such a great chap,
Bitter resentment,
Aimed at the rest,
Consumed in prejudice,
Facing the test,
Like the others before you,
You cannot succeed,
Corrupted by power,
Inherit the seed,
Propaganda cannot stand,
The test of time,
Truths will be exposed,
Down the line,
Your futures proven,
In histories eyes,
As we look to the past,
We see through disguise,
Vile leader shall crumble,
And fall to his knees,
Once forgotten the voices,
The cries and the pleas,
Your empire built up,
From lies, blood, and fear,
Will collapse at foundations,
As seams pull and tear,

Felonious villain,
Lathered in blood,
Crumple you coward,
With face in the mud,
Your once loyal preacher,
Bleeds red by your side,
As exposure of truth,
Hits like the tide,
Your bitter resentment,
Aimed at the rest,
Corrodes your cliff faces,
You fail the test,
Like the others before you,
You have failed the task,
Corrupted by power,
You don the mask,
Imposter, pretender,
You phony, you sham,
Insanity endows,
The slaughter lamb,
Lost hope, doom impends,
You find the way out,
And with maniacal cackle,
And no wings to sprout,
Cyanides combination,
With hard metal slug,
Provides you the cure,
To dictatorships drug,
Your concerns are gone,
No conscience to clear,
And all thats left,
Is your burden to bear.

Awesomely perceptive poem.. i liked the content a lot but thought the flow seemed a bit erratic; could be smoothed out.. sorry so short but this one resonates the same things i've been realizing.. a bit cynical but realistic..
