A bond so solid and oh so strong
i don't understand where it all started going wrong

it started as a crush that all could see
everyone knew they were meant to be

eight years down the track
they are still together but slowly its all starting to crack

mistakes happened, choices were made whether to stay with each other or go separate ways and be with another

They stuck it out tho it was hard
not letting the petty remarks and rumors dent their guard

He told her that work comes first at this stage of his life,
why is he causing her all this pain and strife

oh she loves him head over heels
but i just don't understand how he really feels

he tells her he loves her time and again
but is this what he means until the end

she does a good job of covering it all up with a smile
but i see right threw her it only took a while

her heart is thriving for attention from him
but he would rather be with the boys drinking the gin

i hope he realizes how lucky he is to have this girl threw thick
and thin
