Sitting here in my room
Nothing to do 'coz I'm alone
With a piece of paper and a pen
Trying to make a simple poem
Thinking 'bout the things I've been through
Searching for ideas that would already do
Reminiscing on and I remembered you
Then I smiled 'coz now I know!
It's a special time to say "Thank You"
For all the times you stood by me
For making me know that life must go on
And helping me how to move on
I thank God each and everyday
For your special love He has sent my way
You're such a good friend whom I'll always remember
And promise that I'll treasure you forever.
