Home

I am going home today.
Home to a sense of security.
A place filled with hope and all of life's purity.
My home is my refuge, my solid rock.
I find peace in my home, it's my own sacred spot.
When it's raining outside and the sky is gray.
Home is what keeps me sheltered, it's my saving grace.
The feeling of home soothes my wounded soul.
Gently caressing my fears, making me whole.
Home is where I go to find that true love.
A place that fills me with things my dreams are made of.
I am going home today.
Home to see your face.
It is you that is my shelter, the place I feel safe.

This poem is dedicated to Damar, the man that helped me to believe in true love. I hope you all like it.
