It's Love We're In

by Melanie   Mar 11, 2006

Can we go and sit somewhere quiet?
Sweep me off my feet, pack a picnic and drive into the sun
Lay on the grass beside a slow flowing river...
whisper sweet nothings in my ear, say you are the one
Gaze at the clouds and ponder God's mysteries
Pull the car over please, lets go for a walk instead
Look my way, and I know its only me you can see
Through the forest, through the woods
I'll pick you the flowers that'll steal your smile
I'll sing the song that makes your heart beat...closer to mine
Touch my skin with gentle hands
You leave your soft kisses down my spine
In a bed of blanket and ground, lace and skin
Don't be hesitant to tell me that,
this is love we are in
