What do you do when he says goodbye
and all you want to do is break down and cry

you try to feel happy and you try to feel joy
but what was once there has been destroyed

everyone tries to cheer you up but it don't work at all
and all you want is for him to call

you keep on thinking about what all he told you
wondering if is a lie or if it is true

everything you hear and see reminds you of him
and what yall could of been

you see him with other girls and it hurts you so bad
but when you see him you act happy because you don't want him to know you're sad

i know it's hard to get by when a boy breaks your heart
cause all he does is tear it apart

but in your heart you must always stay strong
cause after all life still goes on
