The last whale

by LESTREX   Mar 13, 2006

Gentle giant of the seven seas
Who travels the ocean roads on a deep blue breeze
Slowly you wonder through lands unknown
Passed seaweed forests and coral town
Your searching song so full of emotion
Answered in silence, lost like tears in the ocean
All are gone sons and daughters
Alas no more they breach the waters
The last whale the end of the slaughters

A poignant topic, the loss captured beautifully.
