Dreams

As I look on the stars in the night
I pray and wish with all my might
That I will wake up next to you
and you'll be mine, Forever true
I know that this won't happen and I know that it's not real,
But for one moment can't we please be surreal??
I need you, oh I need you so
But I haven't told you, you'll never know
So as I lay me down to sleep,
and pray to God my soul He'll keep
I'll ask Him nicely and say please
will you send my love sweet dreams??
