When this girl met this guy
She forgot that she was shy
She grabbed his attention with a playful fight
And from his reaction, she did everything right
Of course he returned her affection
He to had felt the connection
But he was kind of shy
And she was with some other guy

However, the story doesn’t end here
It just begins, starting with New Year
He had drunk a beer or two
And she herself had drunk a few
During a long and drunken walk
They may have shared a kiss and they played and talked
Yet she left him when they reached their destination
And he used all his credit to hear her explanation

Nevertheless, they were together that night
And she kept him up, talking until it was light
Still nothing happens in this story quite yet
As their was still this other guy that she had also met
But as time passed by
She realized she wanted this guy
So she gathered all her courage and might
And kissed him at a Talley party one night

Just one day passed by
Before she heard from this guy
Yet again in a drunken state
Even unable to ride his bike straight
He organized to meet her straight away
Said he had ridden for her all this way
She wouldn’t let him go home drunk that night
So they spend the time making out till it was nearly light

They kept on meeting, this girl and this guy
But he didn’t ask her out and she didn’t know why
He said to her friends that he was a bit scared
And she was always drunk so he hadn’t dared
Until one night, the 25th of January, to be precise
He built up his courage and she didn’t think twice
From his exact words and this moment they shared
She began to think that this guy did really care

When Valentine’s Day rolled along
This guy and girl were still going strong
He gave her a present, it was the best
Then they went down the beach, as she had suggest
Where this guy and this girl lost their innocence that night
But they were so comfortable, it had felt so right
However this girl continues to question this guy
He had lasted for so long, how come? Why?

As the story goes on, this girl is brave yet again
She tells this boy that she loves him, but then…
She is suddenly so shy and even quite scared
Because what if he doesn’t, she isn’t prepared
But then he answers as she hides her face away
“I love you too”, it was the perfect thing to say
And as time carries on, it is said over and over again
And their feelings are true and they still remain

And the story goes on by the month, until it reaches a year
Yet it wasn’t always happy, they had both shed a tear
Their were moments when they fought and nearly split
And this girl had done wrong, she was the first to admit
Yet there are feelings from throughout this time
That cannot even be explained within n a rhyme
Times like the first message that said “Love”
Times like when he was all she would think of

So now it’s been a year for this guy and this girl
And he’s still her boy and she is his pearl
Things are quite shaky, neither is sure what’s next
All of a sudden things have become quite complex
But they are still young, him 17 and her a year less
A relationship this young shouldn’t cause so much stress
This guy and this girl will break up sooner or later
But she was blessed to have him and he was thrilled to date her
