How I fell

by Jay   Jan 24, 2004

Its so hard to tell
One day how I fell
To talk about this day
Makes me feel I'm in hell

I came home one day
to see you there
Reading about poems
Sitting over there

You brought to my attention
This work of art
You said to me
If I have your heart

I told you yes
You read me this skit
It went a little something like this

In a place I did so well
I met a boy I loved so well
He took this girl upon his knee
And told her things
he never told me
for this reason I know why
for this girl was much
prettier than I
I went home that night and cried
Not a word said to my mom
Later that night my dad came home
And search the house from left to right
Through the door he broken down
he saw me hanging without a frown
On the table this note was found
and this note these words were bound
dig a hole
dig it deep
In a tomb from head to feet
please place above a dove
And tell the world i died for love!

She told me
this poem was right for me

later did I know
this poem happened to me

I just close my eyes
pretend to be gone
whats the purpose of life
Living with this frown?

its odd how her words flipped
And tremendously taking this big dip.
