My Lifes Ten Struggles

The car crash was the First
Killed my Mum, Dad and Ryan
Left me here, by myself, lonely and crying

The orphanage was the Second Thought I'd be loved and cared for
Or so I reckoned

The new family was the Third
My body used and abused
I just wanted to be free
Free like a bird

The same family was the Fourth
More touching, feeling and sex
I didn't like it, it hurt
They treated better their pets

Back to the orphanage was the Fifth
Had some counseling and therapy
Yes! finally I was free
It was here I first met Stephanie

To an assessment centerer was the Sixth
Stephanie said "We found a new caring family"
Or so she was saying
Was I about to go through the same torture and pain?

The Anderson's family was the Seventh
They were very loving and caring
I was taught real family values
Not about sex but things like trust and sharing

Getting to know them was the Eighth
Having the confidence to call them
Brother, Mum and Dad
In the end it wasn't so bad

Making new friends was the Ninth
Developing new confidence and learning Karate
To celebrate the new addition to the family
We had a party
We were all up dancing and singing
I could sense the love my family and friends were bringing

The Tenth wasn't really a struggle
More like just relaxing, than trouble
