Autumn Night

by Sabrina   Mar 19, 2006

A baby puma walks through the trees,
Looking at all the opalescent leaves.

The sky has a beauteous sunset glow,
And the river sparkles as it flows.

She looks in the sky at the star-sweet night,
With admiration of the chaste moonlight.

She stops to smell the dew-kissed flowers,
And the wind starts to blow with tremendous power.

The frail flowers are torn apart by the kiss of the breeze,
And she realizes everything will soon start to freeze.

She follows a cricket and starts to prance,
And the mystic tree begins to sway and dance.

She looks to the mountains at the snow-capped pecks,
With her heart full of glee, she goes back to sleep.
