I'm sorry for the pain Ive caused
and for all the ways Ive felt
it seems to me that i have gone
and wanted only to be held

but now i think back
you gave that to me
and all i wanted
was for you to be free

you say its not my fault
that it was you and the choices you made
but if i weren't alive
wouldn't you have more freedom today?

I'm only confused
i was the one who was wrong
ill never deserve you again
forever to you i guess ill be gone

i said we need a little while
i said we needed only a break
but my heart tells me i need you back
that this love for you wasn't just fake

i don't think i deserve it
in fact i didn't deserve you in the first place
such a great and amazing person
and such a beautiful face

but what i ask of you
this one and only thing Ive wished
will you ever forgive me?
or are we completely finished?
