The End

by elise   Mar 21, 2006

It was late October morning,
when all the pain had died,
and all the dread of living now,
had been seen, convicted, and tried.

The leaves circled through the house,
the make up fell onto the floor,
there was no way to talk to her,
she coudn't take it anymore.

There was no way to explain,
for no one had the slightest clue,
what it was that drove to her to this,
there was no signs that held true.

Night will lay her down now,
as the mirror has no mist,
and all that was will be no more,
all has been sealed with one last kiss.

The lies and love with lost heart,
and the knife lying on the table,
there will be no more explaining,
when it seems there are no more able.

No one can see now,
there is no evidence of someone killed,
but the wind will tell as night remains,
just why there is a black and tinted window sill.

So fly on through the darkness,
don't wait for anticipation to fly,
and don't bother to ask for directions,
there is no need to say good bye.
