Spring(quatern)

The sun is shining, melting all the snow
Goodbye mounds of powdered sugar
As the light refelcted burns my eyes
Melting the cold hard rock

The earth is being brought back from death
The sun is shining, melting all the snow
Leaving behind silver twinkles in the mind
Resurrecting the leaves and flowers

Put away bright worn sleighs
bring footballs and basketballs
The sun is shining melting all the snow
Creating a land filled with babes

Tips of green poke through
The white-hot blanket of fluff
And all the world smiles as
The sun is shining, melting all the snow

I agree with Reiko - you could have cut down on the word snow - it made the poem a little harder to read and it ruined the flow considerably. However - the imagery and the happiness within the poem makes up for and more the previous error :) Nice write!
