Never easy to say goodbye

Its never easy to say goodbye to someone you onced loved

to look into that persons eyes and tell them you had enough

to tell them that the fire inside is now not so bright

to tell them that its something wrong with something that felts so right

you don't really want to leave but you're hurting yourself if you stay

you never thought in a million years that it would end this way

you really want to be with them, but you two barely even speak

thers so many emotions inside you can barely even think

you want so bad to work it out but you know that damage is done

its so hard to turn way when your heart is telling you they're the one

your hurt, your confused and all you do is cry

your letting go while holding on because its never easy to say goodbye
