Forgotten Paradise

by Angela   Mar 23, 2006

I stand in the wet sand,
My toes buried in the water,
As I watch the gentle movements before me,
Waves, swaying in the wind,
They seem to call out to me,
Pull my thoughts in all directions,
I am confused, but I don't resist.
As a beautiful force of nature,
It consumes me and I walk towards them.
Knee deep in the ocean,
I let myself fall into the arms of the deep,
Only to realize, that I belong here,
Swimming in paradise.
