Just the Thought [*]

by Steven   Mar 23, 2006

Just the thought of what has happened
a month or two ago
Just the thought of losing you
How it felt you'll never know
Just the thought of being alone
with nothing ever feeling right
Just to think theres nothing planned
on what was once our special night

Just the thought of going to work
knowing everything is lost
No more surprises, no more visits
but here with fingers crossed
Just the thought of your bright smile
looking up to a new face
Just the thought of you with him
finding warmth in his embrace

Oh I hate the thought of you being the same with him as you were with me
the way we danced, the way we kissed
The way we knew to be
Just the thought of your sweet lips
miles away from mine
You won't be here through the holidays
You're now his Valentine

I've never felt so twisted inside
though I've lost love once before
You sure know how to give me hell
and put two hearts at war
Just the sight of you makes everything hurt
Just to the sound of you stops my heart
Just the thought of you makes me sick
Inside, I'm so torn apart

You're just a thought now
A vivid memory, still living, trapped inside
Im thinking something up to say to you
If our Worlds one day collide
