I thought a lot about you today
and as time went on it became more clear what i need to say
as i walked down the street past where we first met
my heart began to fall apart and my eyes were getting wet

after all this time i couldn't let you go
but after today its clear why and now i know
the love that i have is not just love but a fear
and i cant let you go cause it brings me a tear

I'm scared if i let you go ill have nothing anymore
ill never experience love again ill have to ignore
hews the one that made me fell like a special someone
now hes gone i feel like a no one

i hope in time ill lose this fear
and another love will soon appear
