Unpredictable in the Darkness

by Weeping Wolf   Mar 26, 2006

Rain pouring down my window
Listening to sad songs and tears
Surround my every thought of loss
Then a familiar call reminds me
Your the one who cared.

You come over with forbidding poison
I drink it down like a last resort
You look at me holding my loneliness
And ask how i see the world through
Troubled Eyes and a Broken Heart.

The great divide of the street caves in
As my faith collapses into your arms
the fire in your eyes, forgetting my pride
I let you take what you want, besides pity
A free spirit but a dark love enslaved.

And after the rushing rivers in our blood
have drained out all of our passing desires
We sit quietly and mourn until night comes
and bring back the yearning for understanding
Lust you wake my dreams like a summer storm.

As all the memories of the past follow me home
Solitude my only companion until your discovered
So many times broken, shattered and betrayed
Spoken to in riddles and rhymes of your embrace
Into the night I wander to this path i dread.

Your unpredictable in the darkness
and you wont be denied until satisfied.
I've tried to tell myself not to give in
but you still have... all of me.
