The Circle of Friendship

The Circle of Friendship:

For Raveen mauuhh! . O .

Through thick and thin,
you have been a sister too me
i may be a different race
but that doesn't slow down the pace
i love u more than the desert sand
ill never leave you
just take my hand

run away with me
to another place
a paradise of
happiness
and joy
where we can share our secrets
without regret
for the little ears
that hear our step

a different culture
we would not know each other
back in our home land
Our minds work as one
we will always have a ton
on our minds
but i can help you
i can try

i can try and be as good
as a friend you have been to me
i don't know if i can ever
thank you enough
for being there for me
i don't think it matters
because in heart
no material thing matters
its the emotions
in our humble bodies
that we love

talking, laughing, singing, dancing
there is no end
to our fun
French, English
it doesn't matter
we are as one
as if Siamese twins
we were born as one
and then cut and sent to different mothers
with different
race
language
culture
society

but in the big picture
non of that matters
what is the big picture you ask.
well i don't really know
i don't suppose anyone knows
i just know that in the big picture
all the material things
burn
they burn in the flame of desire and jealousy
and our love as friends prevails

i will never do enough for you
because you will always set the standard
higher
i hope our friendship will never end
like a ribbon winding around a cardboard frame
then
when the ribbon is almost finished
we will tie the ends in a knot
and we will have a circle of friendship

hearts break
but our friendship circle never will
