What is desired love?

What is desired love,
is it just a dream.
is it something that you wish for,
something pure and clean.

the love I\'ve had
in my past life
is nothing like a dream.
its nothing to write home about,
i guess it lost the gleam.

my future is much brighter,
its filled with love and warmth.
its full of cheer and laughter,
and my man gives it all.

he tells me that he loves me
he makes me feel so good.
he tells me that he needs me
and gives me so much love.

what would i do without him,
the phantom of my dreams,
the man who gives me everything
and always aims to please.

i guess I\'ll never know that,
because theres no such thing
the perfect love is perfect
only within dreams.
