Message in the Wind

by STAR   Jan 27, 2004

This cold lonely night
the wind knocks on my door,
Hesitant to respond
for I feel so obscure.

Angry the wind sounds
whipping about,
Calling my name
guiding me out.

I rise to my feet
a bit shaky and weak,
Compose myself promptly,
Open the door and take a peak.

Overwhelmed with its strength,
Its warmth and its power,
Feeling confident, strong and
tall as a tower.

The feeling of obscurity
as if never there,
Comforted by its splendor
as it strokes my hair.

I open my arms,
like the wings of a dove,
My feet free and light,
like I'm floating above.

Captivated by this
moment of glory,
As the wind sings its song
of a lovers story.

So far away,
your presence I do desire,
Wishing to hold you close,
make love by the fire.

Feel your touch upon me
as we become one,
All through the night,
till the morning sun.

This distance between us
will bare no pain,
For the wind has a message,
Hear it call your name.

I ask of this wondrous gift
from God up above,
To carry to you
a message of love.

Come out to the wind
spread your arms like a dove,
feel my embrace,
feel my love.

Hear my whispers through
the winds gentle flow,
Feel my love,
Feel it grow.

This love we share
so pure and so true,
reassures me that this
message will make it to you.

My glorious love,
soul mate and friend,
The love that we share
will have no end.
The miles between us
bare them no mind,
for our hearts are as one,
our souls we did find.

The wind whips around
encircling me with care,
Reassuring me kindly
my message is there.
As the wind becomes
peaceful, quiet and calm,
I feel your embrace
protecting me from harm.
This night I did fear
for It was lonely and cold,
but God Brought you to me,
A true love to behold.
I know in my mind, heart and soul,
With you in my life,
I'll never be alone.
Listen in the future
when the wind calls to you,
For it carries a message
of love so true.
