This time

I can still feel the presence in which i once called mine
grasping onto something that will only let go
wondering how long and how hard I'm going to fall this time
the morning comes when all is settled
dew resting on newly blossomed flowers
i hope you realize what you are doing
things that seemed so familiar have faded in time
only through deception have i found the truth
with tears of sorrow and rage of innocence
i will never abandon my post
for i am true to myself
i will not lie to you and say it was all nothing
i can still feel the warmness from the beating sun
resembling the oh so familiar heat from your body
intertwining of our young hands
embracing all that is left between young and naive souls
so now, i must go
not for good because i would never abandon the post
I leave you now to determine your losses
The war is coming to an end
count your soldiers and see what the damage is
are you still ready to fight?
your men are outnumbered
It has been a long a bloody battle
The little drummer boy begins
this is it
the final end
My soldiers await patiently for your men to come closer
The shooting will Begin soon
