My Desire For You

by Caroline   Mar 28, 2006

Here I am,
Talking my loneliness in you,
Reaching for an imaginary glow,
Hesitant, blundering, appeasing so slow.

Struggling to fail, yet fails to win,
My devotion has become a sin,
And desire has become a need,
Dull, obscure paths with no lead.
I need to be freed,
I'm a weakened self, seeking aid.
Relinquished abandoned, an easy raid.

God, I well perceived
I haven't deceived.
I seek your holy face, Your Grace ...
Let Heaven's Angels race to my pleas,
Let the jovial clouds be my veil and ease.
