How stupid was I to think that things would be okay?
Always wishing, always hoping that things could just stay the same.
Life seemed to be going great, everything was back on track,
But it all changed in the blink of an eye, so who should take the blame?
Was it something I did? Was it something I said?
To make you angry or upset, wanting me out of your life.
I thought I was your best friend, and you mind.
You were the only one there, to stop me from picking up the knife.
Now things are just awkward, and so very different.
I wanted everything to be okay, fopr you are my best friend.
But you seem so happy, so great without me.
So my question to you, is this friendship worth trying to mend?
