The Crush

by CAM   Mar 30, 2006

The curves of her body are as the waves of the sea
Her eyes are like deep, dark brown pools of innocence
Her lips are as the soft pedals of a rose

When she leaves or enters the room, she leaves me dazed and confused
Her name is... What is her name?
It neither describes her beauty, intelligence, or independence.

I want her, but she is the unblemished pearl in someone else's safe.
I need her, but she is the precious jewel that someone else wears.
I have to have her, but she belongs to someone else.

I only tease myself when I look deep into her eyes.
I keep telling myself that I have to realize

When I get next to her she give me a certain rush
I slowly repeat to myself: "It's only a crush." " It's only a crush."
