Emptiness

Staring down the empty hallway
Is like looking into your eyes

Expecting to see something,
But nothing

You might have eyes as blue as the ocean
But when you try and find yourself
The wind washes you away

Waiting for you to feel is like waiting for rain in a drought
Hopeless.
But, something you don't give up on

Like staring at the sun setting over the horizon is like your kiss
Beautiful some nights
But a disappointing on others

Still, I can i not find ways to let you go
