Murder

by tiffanny   Apr 1, 2006

I leave you here this way.
Only that you know the truth.
Such a shameful way you lived, the same way you will die.
You thought you had it all,
the beauty and the fame.
You thought that everyone loved you, for a while I thought the same.
But now we both know differently, as you lay there motionlessly.
Unblinking staring at me.
You die alone, your heart full of hate.
I may have been the cause of your fate.
But I do not live in a delusional state.
I know what I am, and I treasure it still.
You kept taking till you had your fill.
So long my dear friend,
it has been fun.
But the reapers coming and I have to run.
