Demonize

by Niky   Apr 1, 2006

Crawling onward through broken glass,
Shattered fragments of a bloody past.
Flick your tongue around bitter lies,
All so sweet in blinded eyes.

Numbed knees torn to the bone,
An obscure place you’re all alone.
Fight for freedom or what remains,
A counterfeit sanity wrapped in chains.

Stand tall now, steady pace,
Run like soldiers, cadavers race.
To outstretched hands & a vicious grin,
Blackened eyes so full of sin.

And though this demon doth entice,
He'll never slay a good man twice.
Lay and wait, thick blood soon dries,
It feels so sweet at life's demise.
