Land of Bleak Night

by Little Sin   Apr 2, 2006

There is a world very far away,
The kind of place you would not want to stay.
Beyond the darkness, beyond death lane,
lies a world without vain, and driven by pain.
The sky's always clouded, while weeping rain.
And each new born, not given a name.

The empty streets, the eerie silence.
Abandoned path ways, a tore down theater.
A church in ashes, a haunted home.
The town square remains alone.
Happiness, joy, to the citizens never known.
Their god, in agony, moans.
The Devil has made this world his own.

The hungry children, never dine.
As their tears,as the demons wine.
The wrathful adults, to their hate, are bind.
Fighting a war without meaning.
And the elderly not allowed to die and rest in peace.
Unable to reach a Heaven nor Hell.
For the angels, from the golden kingdom, have fell.
As their pure, white wings of a silent dove transform to,
Cold, black wings of a screaming crow.
When will salvation rise, no one knows.

Lost souls gather to one last battle,
the children come out from the darkest corner.
As they all watch in sorrow.
At last a hope burning in their hearts, so hollow.
With the resurrected victims, they follow.
All look to sky, viewing a new tomorrow.
The sunlight has been found.
Demons falling to ashes.

Angels singing, a lovely sound.
A new day has dawned above the land.
The land once of bleak night,
now a land of graceful light,
Theres no need to fight on,
for they have waited so long, to hear a melody of a new song.
Tears of sadness, cries of dismay, are now finally gone.
