Wifey

You had a wifey at home, who would've died for you,
When times got hard she stayed up and cried for you,
No matter what you'd gone through she was by your side,
When you were in trouble, she was the one, who lied,

She never played, never linked anyone but you,
Not F...ing your friends like them other girls do,
She was wife material and yeah, boys were envious,
But she never did anything to make you feel jealous,

She could've been the one to have your first child,
Hold it down when things in life got too wild,
She would've done anything, anything you asked,
It's a shame to say that that's all in the past,

You took her for granted, abused her love and trust,
She gave you everything but it was never enough,
You didn't think she had the strength to leave,
But she did and no matter what you may believe,

She\'s gone and she ain't coming back again,
Cos you did nothing but cause her pain,
While she tried to fill your life with happiness,
And yes she'll be the one you'll always miss,

And you'll want her back but she'll never return,
Losing her was a lesson, which you must learn,
Cos no other girl could ever live up to wifey,
She was priceless but you were too blind to see,

So, when you see another man making her smile,
Ring on her finger, walking down the aisle,
You'll know that should've been you in his place,
Making her happy, seeing joy in her face,

But you see she now has what she deserves,
A man who loves her, who knows her true worth,
You too now have all you deserve in life
Watching wifey become someone else's wife

Jolly good, i must say! i found that quite entertaining. in truth, i could see the end from the start. but that doesn't mean it was a good poem...which it was. it obviously isn't one of you many best...but i still feel it is something you should be proud of. well done my love.
