Teenager killed in crash

by Joey   Apr 5, 2006

If my life were to end today,
Id fall from the heavens and head your way.
Id run and hide behind your love,
and hope they wouldn\'t miss me up above.
I\'d watch over you night and day,
Not breaking that promise, \"i\'ll always stay.\"

When night struck and the light was swept away,
I watched you kneel down and begin to pray.
The tears rolled down and I wiped them away,
\"baby, im here, im always going to stay.\"
You crawled into bed and closed your eyes,
I layed beside you an my dreary disquise.

There in your hand a ball of trash,
I read it, \" Teaaneger killed in crash.\"
My body got weak and i began to realize,
Thet teen was me, im no langer alive.
It all came back like a breath of fresh air,
The screeching of tires and the truck light\'s bright glare.

I looked to your body, peacefully in our bed,
I sped up but the light was red.
Your hair pulled back the way i liked it,
The cell phone rang so i went to grab it.
The glass shaterredand punctured my head,
I was injured but far from dead.

I plunged forward and felt the cool air,
I looked around to find my arm wasn\'t there.
My breaths got shorter, my sighs got deep.
I closed my eyes and prayed for sleep.
I looked up at the star lit sky,
And with my last breath asked God \"why?\"

I died that night on that cold black floor,
The same bight the troopers knocked on your door.
I stumble to my feet and kiss your lips once more.
Im your guardian angel, what more could i ask for?
I\'ll be each smile, each frown and grin,
I\'ll watch over you forever, your undieing friend...

I know this is long but if you read the whole thing then i thank you. I wrote this in class the other day.
