Fire Dancer

by Brooke Mason   Apr 6, 2006

The flame is my obediant servant
and I am the tamer of the blaze
Nobody controls fire as I do
and nobody can dance as I do
This I am absolutely sure of

I dance to the beat of drums
fire trailing up my legs slowly
kissing and licking my soft skin
The art I perform is seductive...
so be careful not to be enchanted

Eyes moving with the fire around me
I claim the blaze as my child
I whisper to it, and it listens to me
It follows my every move
like a lost puppy in the pouring rain

I capture the very essence of fire
it is my haven, my soul, my center
I am engulfed in its lustful passion
I will dance until the day I die
I will dance until the fire goes out
