My Symphony Michelle

by chip   Apr 6, 2006

Soaring violins
Weeping and free
Accompanied by a host of sounds, delightful and distracting
I hear the violins

My muse directs the passion
The heart of song
All that I know and feel resounds in harmony,
If I live the rhapsody
Overture to an unfinished performance

I, the audience to symphony Michelle
Enraptured at the stillness, the purity
More that I listen, more that I yearn, more that I stay
Captive free in Opus reality

Poetry that may be lost
On all who failed pause to listen
Now allows me to hear each verse and chorus
Giving melody, stirring refrain and vision

My theater hosts wonderful images
Of your eyes, your smile, your voice
Set to the music performed by a wonderful orchestra
Dancing fantasies of my choice

This concert has not a final act
In as many and as long I may attend
I adore to elicit each note and chord
Each laugh and sigh you send
Ah, Michelle-your spirit in the clouds and winds
A symphony of soaring violins.
