1000 Lifetimes (Without You)

1000 Lifetimes (Without You)

1000 miles and I'm still not closer
You lay these words on my shoulders
A burden you bestowed upon me
When you told me you missed me.

Someone at this moment is being born
but someone else is dying on the floor
I come back and gasp to remember this place
But its all is gone now, it'll never be the same.

1000 years and I'm still not older
1000 lives I've lived and only colder
is my heart and my freeze-dried faith
missing your tragic eyes and lovely face.

I wonder if you ever thought of me
On lonely nights you fill my dreams
the sands of time sweep over the days
only remembering the nights we fled away.

All these missing years...
All these long-lost tears...
One lonely night we were together
But it lasted in my heart forever.

The moon rising over the waves
Under the stars there we layed
consumed there in the endless sand
Sharing time for love, hand in hand

1000 lives I've lived without you
Only now i find that even through
the vast years of envious eternity
Without you my journey was empty.

My heart was laiden with scars
But as you held me under the stars
I found my life was no longer empty.
And I will love you for Eternity.
