I don't know why but I got an image of somebody standing on a cliffe overlooking the water waiting for a ship to come. Really sad poem but I think the person in the poem does have really strong hope even if maybe other people do not.

Your poem was so sad and whats even more sad, this is probably true for some people! :( I know us kids argue with our parents a lot and sometimes we don't see eye to eye, but I think a lot of kids take advantage of their parents and don't even realize how lucky they are to have both!

I would have no idea what it would be like to lose a parent, and hopefully I never will have too. But, I have a lot of friends who have lost one parent or both, and I can feel their emotions and try and help them to the best of my ability as a friend. It was a well-written poem filled with a lot of emotion and sadness. Keep up the good work.
