Subject Of My Mood

by greg   Apr 8, 2006

What began with hellos,
stories and laughs

Evolved to something more,
my mind being stabbed with tacks

Was it something I did,
or words that i spoke?

Either way I have to deceive you
and say i didn't smoke

You may not like my lifestyle,
or agree with all my views

The marooned island in the sea
was so close for me and you

Am i being different; or was i lying
and this is truly how i am

Are these the things your thinking
while your bathing in the sand?

Perhaps my mind is racing
and your not even mad

you couldn't speak your mind
because lingering by the door was your dad

Whatever your thoughts may be
Happy,
Sad,
or Crude

I never thought it'd go this far
but your the subject of my mood
