Where Are You

by Brittany   Apr 8, 2006

His eyes look through mine with a welcoming warmth,
His touch sends a chill up my spine.
His face is a face fit for angels above,
His clothes have a stylish design.
His voice has a coating of honey,
As it whispers sweet words in my ear.
During day he calms with his presence,
During night he banishes fear.
He smells like a garden of roses,
And when I am held in his arms,
He promises safety forever,
And protection from all of life's harms.
But why is his body so blurry?
There's something I can't understand.
Whenever I try to touch his skin,
His body goes right through my hand.
