You

by kyleigh   Apr 12, 2006

You say you know me,
But really you don’t.
You say you love me,
Don’t choke.
You say it wasn’t you,
But know matter how hard you try.
You were with her,
Don’t even deny.
You say it didn’t mean anything,
But I can tell from the way you stare,
I can tell from the way she moves her long blonde hair.

She knew that we were a couple,
But obviously didn’t mean a thing.
She knew that I loved you,
That bell must just not ring.

How could you do this to me?
You said you would love me to the end.
You do know now,
My heart will never mend.
I hope that you are happy now,
Don’t come running back to me.
Don’t forget me now and the love I once did bring.

So all that I have done for you,
You’re going to just throw it all away?
All that I have said,
It didn’t mean a thing!
What about all the memories,
Do you regret most of them?
What about all the kisses and hugs?
The smokes and drugs?
They were all part of your big scam.

Well I hope you found what you were looking for,
You’re happy and it’s true.
But in my life I will always have one true love,
And I hope its you.
