Beating Heart

by Tate LaBianca   Apr 13, 2006

All for you,
dear bloody Valentine.
I feel your heart
beat next to mine.
I give my all
to fight the urge
to with your knife,
the world purge
of one last angel.
Too good, too pure
to bare these sins
that I must cure
you of the fate
that I've incurred.
But without you,
I can not endure.
Your eyes glint with fear,
and I've decided.
In lover's death
we'll be united.
I'll take my blade
to your perfect flesh,
in our final moments
our spirits mesh.
Please save my soul
and keep my heart.
Even in death,
we shall not part.

So bleed, my lovely.
I'll set you free.
Let me be the last thing
you ever see.
