Words

Words are not enough.
They never can describe,
The way your heart is feeling,
Or the thoughts you keep inside.
They're empty and they're hollow,
But they were made that way.
They disguise their true intentions,
And mess up what you say.
I want to say I love you,
But I'm afraid I'll say it wrong.
Words always escape me
When I'm trying to sound strong.
But if I knew what love meant,
Then maybe I could find,
The path that brings us closer,
To leaving words behind.
But I don't know what love means,
I haven't got a clue.
The only thing I know of love,
Is how much I love you.
I don't need words to say it.
I can't count words out.
When i look into your eyes I know,
What love is all about.
So you don't have to say I love you
No words are needed here.
Love is not a statement,
Love is what you feel.
