A Love to Hate

I thought I loved him with all of my heart
To find out that he loved someone else
I cried when I found
He went back to her
I despise her
he's made his mistake
He knows it too
He wants me back but I said no
I couldn't get hurt again by him
Though I think I still love him
He loves me still
But my love for him he still won't know
I wish I could just tell him how I feel
But first I have to know what it is
I don't know all my love for him
I just know that I still love him
He was one of the best things that happened to me
Before the day that he left me
I thought it still went on
Till I said it's over
Then he said that it's been over
But only he was the one that knew
I was in shock as I cried that night
With my best friend beside me
I cried all night
For he hurt me more
Day after day as I said hey
I finally found I could let go
He came back to me and said so
I found that it's hard to let go
Of someone you once thought you'd die for
Love is a hard thing i've
found over the years
And the worst thing to say is that you'd die for him
That is one of the most powerful words someone could say
Is I'd die for you any day
I've made my mistakes
and I've learned from them
But my love for him will always remain
It was hard to let go
And I never will
Forget how he'd say he loved me
He said he'd do anything for me
Though he hurt me more than he helped me
I won't t ever forget his name
and how he came
To be the first that I loved like that
Though he hurt me and he knows
He still says sorry to have it be
I hope things get better between him and me
But I know that things have
From that awful day
I have recovered and learned once more
Love is everlasting but relation ships never stay
I still love him though he don't know
I hope that one day that he will
But it's not something that I can just say
Kinda like saying hey
And if I could one last time
I would say I love you hun
But things aren't as easy as they seem
Those who say forgive and forget
Hasn't been in love yet
And once they do they will know
Someone can't just forgive and forget...
