This was an excellent poem, it forced alot of emotion and had an excellent style to it as well as good rhyme pattern. the stroy it told also lept through quite well. all in all 5/5 excellent poem :)

True, when there is no more violence in a home that once held so much, you could only question why there is silence. And silence could be a powerful thing since it really can say so much. Your poem did have that feel to it as it went to the middle stanza's and then to fall on the last stanza like that. The word choice was strong for this poem. It had to have strong words to produce that emotion.
