Read And Rewind

by kelsielaroche   Apr 17, 2006

Two months,
With no say,
And no backing down.
One night,
Three words,
Can ruin anyone's afternoon.

This holiday was hell without you,
But I still had the right to ruin you,
Come to think of it,
I didn't mean to be so cruel,
No, I didn't mean to hurt you.

So my lines don't mean anything to you anymore I hear,
Well I can only hit you with lines,
Because my singing isn't loud enough,
Please read so we can rewind it all.

Sitting near the phone,
I think I hear it ringing,
But I won't bother to answer it,
Because I know for a fact it's not you,
I'm still where we left off,
And I refuse to let go,
Not until you read this,
Then we can rewind it all.

Even if I cross all this out in the end,
It was still written,
Therefor I still mean it,
Even if I break down and burn this letter after.
Please, read and rewind it all.
