When I'm Falling

by ashley   Apr 22, 2006

You just wanted to get as much out of me as you could,
None of it was real,
Well not for you at least.

I was just your rebounder,
The one that you ran to until you could figure it all out.

I always end up heartbroken,
But not this time,
I showed you that I can stand on my own two feet.

And I found out that when I'm falling,
I don't need you there to catch me,
Cause I can pick myself up without your help.

Because of all the heartache you put me through,
I found out that I'm actually stronger than I thought.

So thank you for the lesson,
And the heartache,
It just took me some time to figure out,

I DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE.
