My Worst Fear

I feel like I'm screaming
And nobody cares.
They tell me I'm dreaming
And not to be scared.

But how can I not be?
All kinds of things scare me.
But there's one thing that scares me worse than all others
And against common beliefs, it isn't my mother.

It isn't the fear of skeletons or bones.
My worst fear is of being alone.
Being alone is as scary to me
As a chainsaw is to an old worn out tree.

All I want is someone who wants to love and be loved by me.
How will I find him?
How will I know?
